JAMES A. GRESHAM - FAIA
Principal / Lead Designer
Jim began architectural practice in Arizona in 1958. He was a member of the faculty of the University of Arizona's College of Architecture from 1961 to 1971. Jim received the Rome Prize for Architecture in 1954 and a Guggenheim Fellowship for Architectural Research in 1965. |
| His contemporary designs are noted for their contextual compatibility and their expression of a distinctive regional and local style. His work has received over 30 awards for excellence in design. He has been extremely active in community and professional affairs, particularly in those areas related to issues of design, preservation and the arts. |
| Much of Jim's recent work has involved designing significant public and institutional buildings, where careful planning is required to ensure flexibility for future growth, propriety in massing and material choice, and sustainability for cost effectiveness and energy efficiency. |

RICHARD BEACH - AIA
Managing Principal / Lead Medical Planner
Richard's experience includes a wide variety of institutional work, focusing on healthcare, governmental, and education facilities. He has worked extensively with user groups in functional space programming, and is highly regarded by his clients for responsive service and design. |
| Many of Richard's projects have involved the careful planning and design of major expansions and renovations to existing facilities, requiring phased construction and maintaining access and service to those facilities during construction. He is the lead planner and designer on every healthcare project the firm undertakes. |
| In addition to Richard's project responsibilities, he also manages the business operations of the firm. |

Principal / Project Manager / Quality Assurance
George Casey has managed a number of major projects for Gresham & Beach Architects. His project management skills for educational and governmental clients include over 30 projects, which total more than $150 M in construction budgets. George's commitment to client service and to exceeding their expectations helps to develop long-term relationships with our clients.

| George is also responsible for quality assurance for Gresham & Beach, bringing his wealth of design and field experience to bear on each project to ensure that documents are thorough and well-organized, thus minimizing costly change orders during construction. |
