FEASIBILITY STUDIES
Most of our projects begin with a Feasibility Study – sometimes it is an assessment of an existing building's capability of supporting an expansion or renovation – but more often than not, we look at many different factors when assessing the feasibility of a project to fulfill our clients' business plans. Some of the factors that we analyze in the course of a Feasibility Study include:
Zoning requirements
Historic preservation requirements
Neighborhood considerations, limitations, context, etc.
Site analysis, special features, topography
Space needs analysis and projections
Infrastructure support (availability, adequacy of existing systems)
Benefits/cost analysis (short-term and long-term, ROI)
Operations projections
In addition, we have worked in tandem with our clients' marketing consultants to develop a vision for their projects that support their business plans for growth and change.
Frequently, the Feasibility Study will lead to the development of a Master Plan, which the client can use to determine necessary levels of investment, generate funding, develop community support, and which will serve as a “roadmap” for the future.
